The library will be FULLY CLOSED to the public beginning on November 10, 2025 until December 1, 2025. During this time, we will complete asbestos abatement and demolition.
The last day to pick up pending holds will be Wednesday, November 5th.
The book drops will be unavailable from November 10th-17th.
Many November programs have been cancelled or postponed. Please check our program calendar for details here.
Staff will be available via email to provide some assistance. Additionally, our social work interns will be available for remote appointments during this time. Please call 551-286-8260 to leave a message to schedule an appointment.
We encourage our patrons to utilize the 77 other BCCLS libraries during this time—all of which are available to you with your library card—as well as our digital resources here.
On December 1st, the Library will re-open to the public with most services and the full collection available. The lower level will remain closed until the renovation is completed. We anticipate re-opening the lower level by the end of February 2026.
