JPL Young Writers

July 1st - August 9th for incoming grades K-6

Do you have a budding author at home or in the classroom? Do you know a young developing artist that is looking for the opportunity to express themselves?

From July 1st to August 9th, we will be accepting original works done by students in the form of graphic novels, short stories and poetry! All participants will receive a distinguished young author’s certificate for participating. Everyone’s submissions will also be displayed on the library’s website for all to see.

The winners will be included in an anthology that will be professionally printed by the library and added to the JPL children’s collection. Winning entrants will receive a copy.
