A Community Environmental Hub
JPL Seed Library The Seed Library is a place where budding gardeners can take seed packets home to plant in their gardens or planters. If there are any seeds that can be harvested at the end of the season, we invite you to bring them back and make them available for someone else next year. We are excited to start this new program and hope that our Seed Library can become an environmental hub for the community. In partnership with the Hackensack Environmental Justice Alliance.

Johnson Public Library Receives "REV 250: Examining the Semiquincentennial through a Jersey Lens" Grant Award and Creates The Bergen County Historical News Archive
The Johnson Public Library now offers access to the Bergen County Historical News Archive thanks to a generous grant awarded by the New Jersey State Library. Funding from the grant has allowed JPL to digitize Bergen County historical newspapers and create the Bergen County Historical News Archive Database—available for free for everyone.
