The Johnson Public Library is happy to announce that, just in time for Spring cleaning, it is now accepting donations in our Better World Books bin. The bin is outside of the Library, located on Camden Street - 15 E Camden Street, Hackensack, NJ.

Through a partnership with The Friends of the Johnson Public Library Inc, who suggested the idea and helped arrange for the bin, the Library will benefit from donations by receiving a portion of the proceeds.

Better World Books is a socially conscious bookseller that combines sustainability with global literacy efforts. Through its e-commerce platform, customers support book donations with every purchase. The company collects used books via library partnerships and convenient Drop Boxes, diverting millions of books from landfills. Unsellable items are responsibly donated or recycled, while proceeds help fund literacy partners worldwide.

The Library staff encourage you to support the library while clearing out your unused items. Stop by our bright green bin and make a donation today!

Please do not drop off library books, from JPL or any other BCCLS libary, in this dropbox.
