Welcome to Walking on Shifting Sands. In Cathleen's words, "Creativity swirls through my mind like a sirocco, starting slowly and gaining incredible speed. While I am not a classically trained painter, the canvas allows my thoughts and feelings to emerge, with the sand moving at its own pace. As the poet Kahlil Gibran said, 'I am forever walking upon these shores, betwixt the sand and the foam. The high tide will erase my footprints, and the wind will blow away the foam. But the sea and the shore remain. Forever.' While we may each feel like a grain of sand, assuredly, we all leave an impact on the world."
