Kids’ Summer Reading Club
Monday, June 30 to Thursday, August 7
Kids are welcome to join our annual Summer Reading Club by registering at tinyurl.com/JPLKids2025.
For every five books read and logged, kids will receive a special JPL Summer Reading brag tag. Keep track of the books read on paper logs available for pickup in the Children’s Room. Logs can be submitted to Children’s room staff.
Those that read and log at least 5 books by Thursday, August 7th can pick up their complimentary book and certificate beginning on August 11th in the Children’s Room.

Teen Summer Reading Program
Tuesday, July 1 to Friday, August 8
Escape Rooms, Gaga Ball, Video Games, Crafts, FOOD, and more - JPL has a summer of fun awaiting you, and everything is FREE! You don’t have to attend every event to participate. Bring a friend with you or make some new ones!
We encourage everyone to read over the summer, even if you’re not a big reader. You can read comics, adventure books, romance, fantasy…any genre you’re interested in. Ask us for book recommendations and we’ll find something great for you to read.
Sign up at JPL and you will receive your reading log and a game board of events to attend and activities to complete to earn extra points toward prizes.
Registration begins June 10 at 3pm and continues throughout the summer, but register before July 2 to earn extra points. Bring your library card when you register if you’d like to check out the first book for our Comics and Cuisine book club (first meeting July 8).
Don’t miss our End of Summer Party! We’ll play Laser Tag, eat pizza, and give out prizes. Read 2+ books and submit your reading log by August 5 to attend. (A signed permission slip, available starting July 31, is required). Read 5+ books to be eligible for our grand prize raffle of a $50 Gift Card. Other prizes, including gift cards and books, will be given out at the party.
Adult Summer Reading Program

This year’s adult summer reading program is a BINGO Challenge!
Get started with the bingo boards in the Adult Summer Events Brochure.
Stop by the Circulation desk when you complete a task on your board to have it marked as completed. Once you complete an entire row, column, or diagonal, fill out your information, cut out the entire page, and submit it for a single entry into our raffle. Complete the whole board to receive 5 entries!
We will be raffling off 3 prize baskets of equal value. Baskets will consist of items such as: JPL merchandise, gift cards to local businesses, puzzles, and books. Baskets will be given on a first-come-first-served basis.
All bingo boards MUST be submitted no later than Friday, August 8th for consideration. Winners will be contacted via phone and/or email the following week.
