Teen Department

The Teen Department at Johnson Public Library is happy to serve students in Grades 7-12 (though people of all ages are welcome to check out our collection!). We have a weekly Teen Tuesday program during the school year and an exciting series of Summer Reading events each year!

Seeking Teen

Volunteers

The Johnson Public Library is seeking Teen Volunteers to assist with summer reading events, as well as Outreach Events, Book Inventory, Homework Helpers and beyond. Volunteers must be entering Grades 9-12 in Fall 2024 or high school graduates in the class of 2024 to assist with Teen Programming and outreach. Volunteers entering 8th grade may assist with Children's Room events. Volunteers must attend a mandatory training session on Tuesday, June 4 from 6-7 p.m.  Application must be filled out by the teen applicant.
